CMW carries two insurance policies covering Personal Accident and Public Liability.  These policies cover all Full Members and Prospective Members undertaking Club walks and other activities.

 

The policies are arranged annually through Bushwalking NSW, and thence through Bushwalking Australia which negotiates the final contract with the insurance company on behalf of BNSW and the other Australian States and Territories. Simply signing the CMW Trip Intentions (Leaders) Form at the start of a walk gives you insurance coverage. So you're good to go!
